1.  No smoking or vaping allowed anywhere in the building.
2.  Smoking/Vaping will be allowed on the patio 15 feet from the entrance as long as cigarette butts are deposited in the proper containers.
3.  Pets are not allowed in the building
4.  Children under 21 will not be allowed in the yacht club unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
5.  Members shall be fully responsible for the conduct of their children and guests and also ensuring that their guests sign the guest book.
6.  Members shall remain orderly at all times and shall refrain from using offensive expletives on any part of the club premises including the bar.
7.  Alcoholic beverages are not to be brought into the club.  Food can only be brought into the club if the kitchen is closed.  No pizza will be served while the kitchen is open.
8.  Proper attire will be required at all times.
9.  For the conveyance of members, notices may be posted on the club's website.
10.  Members damaging club property shall be held liable.
11.  The Hammond Yacht Club reserves the right to refuse service to any person.
12.  Members must present their membership card for service.
13.  Only credit cards are accepted for payment. 
14.  Only members may purchase alcoholic beverages.
15.  Employees are not allowed to be members of the club as it's a conflict of interest.
16.  If you have a boat in our marina, you need to have a yacht club membership at our yacht club.  If your boat is not in our marina, then you must have our yacht club membership or another yacht club's membership to enter our yacht club.
17.  Associate membership includes 1 card for the member  The guest policy rules shall apply.
18.  Guest Policy Rules:   The slip holder of a boat harbored in Hammond Marina can only be invited into the club 3 times in total (which includes open houses.)  Prior members who still harbor a boat in the marina are not allowed to be guests.  It is the responsibility of a board member, an officer or employee to notify the host member when such a rule is violated.  The Hammond Yacht Club reserves the right to refuse service to any non-member.  Host member must have their guest sign into the guest log upon arrival to the club.  Host member must also pay the tab for guest.  Host member must be present in order for guest to be served.

Membership runs January 1 through December 31.
Annual membership dues are due by January 1 each year.  If paid before January 1, 2026, a $50 bar credit will be awarded.

Tables and chairs will be provided by HYC.  No cooking allowed in kitchen, sinks may be used.
Please note:  An Indiana Police officer is required, at your expense, with 60 or more attendees.  No confetti, glitter or open flame is allowed in the Yacht Club.
